Milam County CASA
We are the local CASA program serving children and families involved in the child welfare system in Milam County, Texas.
We train and support local volunteer advocates who amplify children’s voices, strengthen family connections when safe and possible, and make informed recommendations so each child’s safety, well-being, and best interests remain at the center of the case.

Local Advocacy. Real Impact.
How Milam County CASA is helping local families
Every visit, court report, training hour, and mile driven helps CASA volunteers show up with consistent, informed advocacy for children and families across our community.
Milam County Casa mission
Our mission is to provide trained court-appointed advocates for abused and neglected children in CPS care; to represent those children in court through collaboration with family members, key agencies, legal counsel, as well as community resources, and to ensure the child has a voice.
The ultimate goal is to ensure safe reunification of child(ren) with parents/family or placement with a permanent adoptive family.
